- Take 3-5 minutes to be mindful or do a quick meditation. You can close your eyes and rest your mind. Take some deep breaths. Check in with your senses. What do you hear, smell, see, feel, and taste? You can also find many quick 5-minute meditations on YouTube.
- Take a quick walking break, 5-10 minutes can do wonders for a quick reset!
- Take a socializing break. Check in with a friend or co-worker.
- Take an appreciation break. Thank someone for something they helped you with. Write a quick thank you note or give someone a shout-out for a job well done!
- Take a stretching break, your body will thank you for it! Move around, do some shoulder rolls, or neck rolls to relieve some tension. Make it a habit to get up each hour and stretch.
